Jalen Whitlow - Athletic Director

My name is Jalen Whitlow and I am the athletic director and a teacher at Heritage Academy. This is my second stint living in the Lowcountry as I am from Montgomery, Alabama originally. I graduated from Prattville High School in Prattville, AL. I attended college at the University of Kentucky for two years before transferring and graduating from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelors in Corporate Communications. I played football at both universities.

After graduating in 2017, I moved to Hilton Head Island, SC where I taught and coached at HHIHS for 3 years. I am excited to be back on the island after 4 years in Atlanta, GA. I am extremely thankful and excited to join a wonderful community and impact the lives of our future leaders in the classroom and on the field!
