How to Apply
Take a Tour
The first step in applying to Heritage Academy is to schedule a campus tour. This visit offers prospective students and their families an opportunity to experience the school’s environment, meet faculty members, and learn about the diverse programs available. To arrange your tour, please contact the admissions office at 843-842-8600
Apply
Following the tour, prospective students and their families are encouraged to engage with the admissions team to discuss individual goals and aspirations. Heritage Academy offers a rigorous curriculum for grades 6–12, complemented by college counseling services that guide students through the college selection and application process.
Transfer Student Admission
Heritage Academy welcomes transfer students into its dynamic academic community. The admissions process is tailored to ensure a smooth transition, beginning with a campus tour to experience the school’s environment firsthand. Transfer applicants are required to submit a completed application, application fee, academic transcripts from age 12 to the present, and a Statement of Good Standing from their current school.
Student Athlete Admission
For students interested in athletics, it’s important to note that any new or transfer student intending to participate in varsity sports must complete the New Student/Transfer Student Form as per the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) guidelines .
Dual Enrollment
We work with USCB (University of South Carolina at Beaufort) and TCL (Technical College of the Lowcountry) to give students a well-rounded array of options.
College Counseling
We partner with Clear College Counseling to provide SAT/ACT tutoring, test prep, college exploration, essay writing, college application expertise and more.
Life Experiences
Students have field experiences from watching a rocket launch from the Kennedy Space Center in Port Canaveral to traveling to foreign countries.
