Heritage Academy provides a supportive learning environment for Middle Schoolers to develop important study skills, refine their interests, talents, and critical thinking skills and build their leadership, confidence, creativity, citizenship, integrity, and responsibility levels.
The Middle School curriculum provides for sixth through eighth grade students to take four core subjects: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies by taking three 85-minute classes each semester. Language Arts and Math are taught both semesters providing double the course-time compared to a traditional middle school. Students are placed according to skills ability rather than specific grade level and qualified students may be scheduled into advanced classes to earn high school credit.
